Scunthorpe Bridge Club, founded in 1977, plays in its own clubhouse on Sunningdale Road with sessions most days of the week, including relaxed bridge on Tuesdays and an improvers session on Thursdays. It runs lessons for newcomers and everyone is welcome.
Bassingham Bridge Club meets at The Hammond Hall with a relaxed, no pressure approach that suits beginners. It runs social bridge on Tuesday afternoons, an improvers session on Wednesday evenings and a friendly duplicate on Thursday evenings.
Boston Bridge Club plays duplicate on Monday and Thursday evenings at Boston Tennis Club, with a Tuesday afternoon social session designed to help everyone from absolute beginners upwards improve. Visitors are welcome at any time and no partner is needed on Tuesdays.
The City of Lincoln Bridge Club, founded in 1946 as Lincoln Eastgate, plays duplicate on Monday evenings and Wednesday afternoons at the Lindum Sports Association. It also runs a Monday evening bridge school for beginners and improvers, and new players and visitors are very welcome.
Heighington Bridge Club plays duplicate bridge in the main hall of the modern, air conditioned Hammond Hall in Bassingham, with competitive pairs on Monday evenings and a relaxed Friday afternoon session with a tea break. New members and visitors are always welcome, and the club will try to find a partner for single players.
Louth Duplicate Bridge Club plays face to face duplicate on Tuesday evenings and Friday afternoons at Louth Indoor Bowls Club on Birch Road. School children under 18 play free and no partner is needed for the Tuesday session.
Mr Bridge Club Grantham plays face to face bridge on Thursday and Friday mornings at the Barrowby Reading Room and welcomes players of all abilities. The Friday supervised session is slower and more relaxed, aimed at intermediate players.
Scunthorpe Chess Club, formerly Appleby Frodingham, meets on Monday and Thursday evenings at the Cricket Pavilion, Brumby Hall. It runs Division 1 and Division 2 teams in the Lincolnshire league.
Barton Chess Club meets on Monday evenings at the Corn Exchange on Market Place, Barton-upon-Humber, for over the board chess.
Grantham Chess Club meets on Wednesday evenings at Gonerby Social Club on High Street and plays in Division 2 of the Lincolnshire league.
Grimsby Chess Club, which celebrated its 150th anniversary in 2025, meets on Monday evenings at Cleethorpes Leisure Centre. It plays in Division 1 and Division 2 of the Lincolnshire league.
Lincoln Chess Club meets on Wednesday evenings at Lincoln Labour Club on Newland. It fields several teams in the Lincolnshire league and suits both league players and those after social games.
Louth Chess Club meets on Tuesday evenings at St James' Church House on Upgate and runs Division 1 and Division 2 teams in the Lincolnshire league.
Skegness Chess Club meets on Monday evenings at Skegness Indoor Bowling Club on Wainfleet Road and plays in Division 2 of the Lincolnshire league.
Spalding Chess Club meets on Tuesday evenings at Spalding Services and Social Club on High Street, offering over the board chess in South Holland.
Spalding Duplicate Bridge Club meets on Monday evenings on High Street, Spalding, regularly with ten tables or more. Visitors are most welcome, and a partner can sometimes be found.
Welton Bridge Club plays duplicate bridge every Tuesday evening at Welton Village Hall, with a 6.30pm arrival for a prompt 6.45pm start. New members are very welcome and the first session is free.
