Caernarfon Chess Club meets at Caernarfon Library on the first and third Tuesday of each month from 6.30pm, with drop-in play on Thursday afternoons from 2pm to 6pm. Free and open to everyone, from children and newcomers to strong players.
A small, friendly club at the Garden Village Institute in Wrexham with duplicate bridge on Monday and Thursday evenings plus Tuesday and Friday afternoon improvers sessions. Guests are welcome on any club night and improvers get help from experienced players.
Wrexham Chess Club meets on Tuesdays at Gresford Memorial Hall, with a junior and developing players session from 6pm and the main club from 7pm, September to spring. Beginners and social players are as welcome as league players.
