Latimer Chess Club meets on Wednesday evenings from 7.30pm at the Latimer Ward Conservative Club on Surrey Street, Leicester, with a cash bar. It plays in Division 5 of the Leicestershire and Rutland league, a friendly level for newer league players.
Loughborough Chess Club meets on Wednesday evenings from 7.45pm at the Fennel Street Club in Loughborough, with a bar available. It fields teams in Division 1 and Division 4 of the Leicestershire and Rutland league.
Market Harborough Chess Club meets on Tuesday evenings from 7.30pm upstairs at the Market Harborough Conservative Club on Fairfield Road, with a bar available. It runs three teams in the Leicestershire and Rutland league and also plays in the Northamptonshire league.
Melton Mowbray Chess Club meets on Wednesday evenings from 7.30pm at The Royal British Legion Club on Thorpe End, with a bar and step free access at the rear. It runs teams from Division 2 to Division 5 of the Leicestershire and Rutland league.
